I had looked up studios in orange county and this is the only that seemed to fit what I was looking for. Great location in Newport Beach and affordable too. Perfect for projects both big and small. Space is open and spacious. There are two rooms with plenty of chairs and couches to use. There is also a beach volleyball court and a little outdoor area to be used:) Sammy’s got great lighting equipment available and he knows how to use it. Very friendly and helpful, he knows how to figure out what you need and make it available for you. Sammy is sweet as sweet can get. He even gave me lotion and oil to use on my body for a fitness video I was shooting. I usually bring these things on my own. I happened to forget and with out even asking or mentioning this mistake Sammy suggested it and brought it out for me:) Make Up room is very well lit and has that Hollywood ambience which would be great if you’re bringing in a MUA and models. “Great photo studio rental to spend a couple hours! Never knew this place existed until I made a list of local studios. In addition to being conveniently close to the 405 and UCI, it’s the closest one to South Orange County, which saves a lot of driving time. Also a hop away from Newport Beach, if you want to do a studio/sunset shoot would be very handy. Space is open and spacious. Long enough to shoot groups and family portraits with a longish lens. Ideal for acting head shots, fitness photography, fashion photography, or anyone looking to build a modeling portfolio. Sammy’s got great lighting equipment available and he knows how to use it. Very friendly and helpful, he knows how to figure out what you need and make it available for you. Would definitely like to take a course in the near future with him as soon as time allows. “As a hairstylist I have been to many studios and shot with numerous photographers but this studio in particular earns a perfect score in my book. The area allotted to shoot was equipped with different backdrops and props (not the cheesy kind), the makeup/hair room had several mirrors in addition to good lighting, and the studio square feet is just so big you don’t feel like you’re confined to a small corner. I like iWink Studios because anyone can rent out the space to shoot, it doesn’t matter if you’re an amateur or a professional but they do offer digital photography classes if you’re willing to cough up some dough. It’s a good studio for anyone looking to expand their modeling portfolios with some fashion photographs, beauty head shots, or to execute a conceptual photoshoot idea.
